started working on a wrought iron easel. got a good start. It is suppose to hold a granite plack for a retired couple. fairly large, so it's heavy. Got the job last fall, but there was no sense in making it until spring... ground freeze... will have to mount it in cement because of the weight.....it's getting kind of mucky, so thought it a good idea to get going on it. next, i'm starting a life sized bald eagle. that should be interesting since I've never made one.... we shall see what we shall see....
Haven't worked anymore on the most recent painting..... need to get to it... how do you motivate yourself when finding yourself in a stooper???? COME ON!! LET'S GET GOING!!...........nope.... didn't' work...open to suggestions....
Devious Comments
As frustrating as the down times are, I think they let the creative brain have a bit of time out. I believe fresh ideas are incubating in the back recesses of our minds, subconciously, getting ready to hatch when the time is right.
Some ideas or inspirations take longer than others.
Thats my excuse anyway!
How many things can you do at once?
